in the spirit of Christmas....

I'm doing a series of posts about Jesus, since I love Him and it's about to be the day that we suppose is his birthday. Not necessarily about the actual event of his birth, but just things about him that are on my mind. I read this today, and thought it was interesting.

Thoughts?

I think arguing philosophically that God doesn't exist and then backing it up with moral reasons is silly. I can see two distinct possibilities:
1) God exists, there is absolute truth, and it's our job to figure out what it is and get on board with it.
2) God doesn't exist and this life is meaningless, so don't worry about arguing with anybody...or being good...or anything, because it's all meaningless.

I would love for an atheist to properly explain how anything has meaning (The Iraq war is bad, for example, or that it's wrong to rape women).
