This American Animation

In early May, Kevin and I went a couple friends (Hampton!) to see one of our favorite NPR programs, "This American Life" on the big screen. It was for one night only: Thursday, May 1 at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT/6 pm MT and tape-delayed at 8 pm PT, and we went to see it at the AMC Theater in NorthPark Mall. So everywhere around the nation at selected theaters we were all watching it at the same time (sans the west coast). It was a great night and this was one of the animated pieces they did for one of their mini-stories on the TV version of the show.

I love Ira Glass and I love this program! Here's a link to the podcast if you're interested....which you should be.

I went to it in Plano... amazing. Seriously. I love TAL, and force my kiddos to watch it too.
My friend Dustin's question (which didn't get answered): The glasses... at what point did you decide "This will be my icon?" Or did it just happen one day, and you can't get away from the image?
